Everglade Windows is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge aluminium products

With the surge in demand for aluminium continuing to rise, Jay Patel, Director at Everglade Windows, talks about how the UK’s number one fabricator is responding with its new product launches and innovations.

As an industry, we’ve made strides to improve the thermal efficiency of window and door systems on a global journey to Net Zero. Although the expected changes in the Future Homes Standard aren’t as far forward as we’d anticipated, homeowners are still placing a priority on energy efficient homes – as seen in Rightmove’s 2023 Greener Home Report, which found 94% of respondents believed it was worth paying more for an energy efficient home.

It’s data like this that reinforces our role as a fabricator. Without continuous dedication into extensive product development, keeping up to date with key trends and investment into state-of-the-art machinery, we wouldn’t be able to deliver our customers the right products and technical support to allow them to meet these goals and expectations.

Thanks to our dedication to innovation, Everglade Windows is already at the forefront of delivering for our customers and homeowners – and we will continue to put in the work to provide the highest quality products, regardless of government energy ambitions.

Leading the way with product innovation

It’s in our DNA to continuously look for ways to innovate our products. Over the past couple of years, we have invested a lot of time, money and resources into extensive new product development to be able to create a suite of impressive, highly-engineered aluminium doors, some of which are unlike any available on the market. Some of these products include our most recent launches, such as our aïr 180XLS Lift & Slide Door, aïr 400SS 25mm Sliding Door, and aïr 900 Bi-Fold Door.

With energy performance levels equivalent to the Passivhaus Standard, our aïr 180XLS Lift & Slide Door is just one example of how we are helping our customers meet the future demands of the home, today. As well as 50mm interlocking sightlines, 2000 Pa wind resistance and sash sizes up to 3m x 3.6m, the aluminium sliding door is able to achieve low U-values from 0.8 W/m²K.

Our remaining product launches offer the same leading technical performance and optimum energy efficiency. This, coupled with our on-hand technical support, means we are more than prepared to offer our customers everything they need to meet what homeowners are asking for.

Our award-winning products and services to support aluminium growth

Our customers always have and always will be our priority. With our combination of award-winning products, continuous development and future thinking, we arm our customers with high-quality products and a faultless service which helps them grow, and homeowners achieve the specification they desire.

Our commitment to providing the best has been reflected in our flurry of award wins over the past few months. We took home the coveted Fabricator of the Year award at the G23 Awards, while also being recognised as the UK’s number one for Customer Care. We also picked up the Manufacturing Business of the Year Award at this year’s West London Business Awards – an award we have won for the tenth time – and our aïr 180XLS Lift & Slide Door is shortlisted in an industry award for Best Technical Innovation.

We all know just how unpredictable things can be, particularly with a general election around the corner, so the journey to Net Zero may not look the same as it does today. However, I think we can all recognise the importance of finding products and businesses that put the planet first – whether it is us as fabricators, installers choosing the right supplier or homeowners looking for ways to be more environmentally conscious. At Everglade Windows, we will always ensure we invest our resources in developing the aluminium products that are a part of delivering a solution for that.
